Nice rock song by the "old" Paola & Chiara. As much as I loved them and still do, they've always had really silly album titles and still have (see "Win The Game"). But other than that, they rule. Beautiful ballad by Tarkan, and then Virgin Steele really rule the night with this one. Hypocrisy was also cool, Trivium I didn't quite understand, and Bon Jovi re-defined the word "kitsch". And it's a long song, believe me.
'the era' is an interlude (nice by the way), before Children Of Bodom rock today's Today. That's a damn great melody line, sir. Beherit, as expected, are a journey not only to, but into the moon that is pictured on the cover. A wonderfully old sounding recording of Lakmé follows (thanks Supul), and then a quite old Metal Hammer compilation gives me Sedativa, who sing a chorus that totally works, folks.
And then once more Catamenia, this time with a full track from their first album - typical and good. And now for something totally different: Cubismo & Bolesna Braća I think collaborate on this track to do some Croatian/Venezuelan shout-out at World Music (partly working). We end this session with my new love and desire, House music. Very nice production by Seamus Haji. "And if it wasn't for the music, I don't know what I'd do".
