The eternal question:
How to rate at Rateyourmusic?

Is this rating too high? Is it low enough if you don't like an album?

Let's have a look at 3 different rating "systems" and let's see if maybe something can be used:

*****************************
5.0 - Perfection
4.5 - Almost Perfect
4.0 - Really Good
3.5 - Pretty Good/Good
3.0 - Average
2.5 - Disappointing
2.0 - Pretty Bad/Bad
1.5 - Really Bad
1.0 - God Awful
0.5 - A Crime Against Music
*****************************
5.0 - Superb/perfect
4.5 - Awesome/exceptional
4.0 - Really good
3.5 - Good
3.0 - OK
2.5 - Could have been better
2.0 - Not good
1.5 - Disturbingly bad
1.0 - Noise
0.5 - The opposite of music
*****************************
5.0 - Epic
4.5 - Great
4.0 - Good
3.5 - Decent
3.0 - Okay
2.5 - Average
2.0 - Below average
1.5 - Bad
1.0 - Awful
0.5 - Disgusting
*****************************

So, I need to make up my mind and get a bit of order in my ratings, cause - I like just rating how it "feels" to me, but then again... a bit of reason might not be a bad idea.

2.0 - Not good
1.5 - Disturbingly bad
