What a crazy Monday, finally some time to comment my "Today" list. One thing grabs my attention immediately, Emperor twice and Nightwish twice appearing in the list (what does "Today" wanna tell me here) and Don Giovanni from Mozart as final piece of melodic art. Starting with a rather heavy song from Crematory to Dio's story-telling wise song of Magica, followed by the unmistakeable sound of Emperor. Had to stop there and listen again, quite some time I listened to them, always a pleasure. Lothlorien, recommended by a good friend of mine, impressed me with solid vocals and guitars, too bad I only have one album of them. Among all the Metal songs a Pop song from Madonna comes up and her soothing voice is a welcome change in music :). From the Queen of Pop to the Kings of Metal, a slow intro and scores of fans chanting along accompany this Manowar song. Morale didnt spark a light and I went to Nightwish, where The Riddler occupied a spot on my MP3 player for several weeks, same for Persuader and their album Evolution Purgatory.
Last but not least, Mozart, a surprise and classic end for today :)
